Wild @ Heart - A Background Tutorial using Shimmerz Paints

Hi There Shimmerz Friends,

It's Renee here, coming to you from school holidays here in Australia.

School Holidays mean lots of creative time at home.

My favourite kind of days.

Which sometimes require me not getting out of PJ's!!

Here is a layout I created

focusing on the background

which was created with Shimmerz Paints, of course!

Love how this turned out.

The background was loads of fun to make!

Using the Shimmerz AcriTonez - Shimmerz Tar Tar,

I painted the wood veneer crosses.  

I only need one coat, as these AcriTonez are so pigmented.

A Quick Card using Shimmerz Christmas Set

Hi There Friends,

There is nothing better than receiving a handmade

Christmas Card in the mail.

So today I wanted to share with you a Quick Card Tutorial using

Shimmerz Vibez Snow Storm & Velveteen Green

from the Shimmerz Christmas Set.

For this card I wanted to show you how easy it is to create a

chalkboard effect border using the Shimmerz Vibez Snow Storm 

and Black Cardstock.

I used my Limited Edition Clique Kit for Christmas Cards

which featured the My Minds Eye - Comfort and Joy Collection.

Be Brave

Hi! Irit here with a new layout using some of my favorite colors of Shimmerz goodies, but this time I'm creating a summer layout. I really love the contrast of all those corals and pinks with the blue water.

I started with watercolor paper, as I knew I was going to use lots of water with my Inklingz and Creameez. To get that beautiful stained watercolored look, you really need to work in layers. Apply one layer of color, let it dry, and then go back and add more color where needed. I like to start with softer colors and work my way to the brighter ones.

On this project I started with Inklingz in Bahama Mama, She Packs A Punch, Can't Elope and Creameez in Daffodil. In the second layer I added the slightly darker Trippin In The Tropics and Good Ol' Summer Time. I also added splatters in each layer. For my last layer I pulled out some more intense shades. I used Vibez in Mango Tango and Pop Art Pink as well as Coloringz in Pretty in Pink (that's the darker pink you can see splattered in the photo above).

I let everything completely dry, and then pulled out my obsession these days... Dazzlers. I just love these shimmery colorful pastes. They are gorgeous and a pleasure to work with. I used a Heidi Swapp Stencil and 3 colors of Dazzlers- Tutti Frutti, Coral Me Crazy and Dreamscicle. You can see in the video exactly how I applied them to get a lovely color variation.

I just love how all the layers of watercolors peek between the stencil image. I finished my layout with some papers layered behind my photo and lots of Crate Paper Wonder embellishments that fit my color scheme perfectly.

Hello!Friends!　Yuko here.

We went grape picking　on other day.
It was a　lot of fun!!!
Grapes were very sweet and juicy❤

This time it is the work of ６ inches size.

The mount is a card stock.

Using modeling paste has been put out a three-dimensional feeling.

Mist 2 color (COLORLINGZ/Moody Mauve VIBEZ/Grape Escape) where coloring is purple

Pink (VIBEZ Razzle Dazzle Berry) is used only a little.

Dark part offers a looping it this way place to take the brush.

The part of the chip board and background Texturez (Have a Grape Day!) ←  interesting naming ! use.

Refreshing layout in May !

Hello!

Today I will share a Refreshing layout in May !

I went to a picnic with a box lunch with my friends the other day.

It was the splendid day when the fresh green was refreshing!

【always together】

A background did mist( COLOR INGZ：  Heidi Ho Blue  

 VIBEZ ：  Jeni  B Blue / Palm readerSpritz： Bamboo Leaf) after clear gesso applied.

The cardboard of the leaf seems to look like the fresh green ,

 uses 2 colors of SHIMMERZ(KeyLime/Grenn Olive)

A texture is put on the completion by modeling paste, and.

 shade was adjusted in JESSO.
