to stamp onto a layout.

Shimmerz Aqua Huez - 1 Brick Short and Pot-O-Gold

Lots of little details on this layout.

I love how fine and detailed the stamping turned out!

December Planner Layout 2016

Hi Shimmerz Friends,

I may be getting a little excited at the prospect of Christmas.

So much to plan, so many things to do!!

So, with that in mind, I decided to get ahead and get my planner ready for

the very busy Holiday Season.

So here it is, ready to go.

I went a little funky with this one.

And I love how it turned out!!

So those Christmas Baubles that are hanging, are made with

a circle punch and some of my favourite Shimmerz Products of course!!

The Shimmerz Products I used are:

Shimmerz Aqua Huez - Seeing Red and Ivy League

Shimmerz - Silver Bells

Shimmerz Inklingz - Naughty or Nice

Shimmerz Spritz - 4 Leaf Clover

In the video tutorial I show you how I created this layout

including the Baubles and the Christmas Tree.

The Christmas Tree is propped there by twine around the star,

and when you undo it, you can fold the tree down,

to write you notes and Christmas List under it.

Autumnal Splendour with Astrid

Hello Shimmerz friends, today I am sharing a Fall inspired little canvas.

Autumn is my favourite time of the year and while creating this I was inspired by all the beautiful colours we can find in nature. I used loads of different Shimmerz products this time round, I'll list which ones as I go through;

Like usual I started with my background:

I layered some texture paste through a couple of stencils, when dry went over the whole canvas with gesso and when that was dry added colour with the help of  3 sprays: Vibez Egg Noggin and Palm Reader and Spritz Bamboo Leaf

Next I started work on the embellishments I was planning to use, first the leaves.

First I simply die cut them. Then I coloured them with the following paints: Inklingz metallic set: Miner Miner and Penny 4 Your Thoughts and Shimmerz Celery and Crimson Tide. To deepen the colours I also used some Vibez Sunset Strip and Hot Fudge. I just played around until I was happy with the colour result, then put the leaves back in their respective dies and then embossed them, highlighting the raised bits with some Espresso Archival Ink. (If you emboss your leaves before colouring, you lose the detail when using the wet media)

These images were stamped, fussy cut and then coloured with Aqua Huez: Ivy League, Perfectly Purple and Very Blueberry

Then all I had to do was put it all together and I was done.

Below a few details.

A little rose from my stash, to finish the leaf and berry cluster

Some of the stencilling darkened with a Distress Crayon

And that was pretty much it.

May Monthly Planner Layout using Shimmerz Aqua Huez

Today I am sharing with you a May Monthly Planner Layout

using Shimmerz Aqua Huez

in my Large Black Kikki K Personal Planner.

I wanted to show you that you can be as creative as you like

in your monthly planner.

I covered the entire double page.

And I love it!!  So bright and colorful.

It started off as a blank monthly planner without, dates.

I use this planner for my creative deadlines.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the thinner Kikki K paper

held up when using the Aqua Huez.

It's Renee here, sharing with you the very cool Color Chart

from the brand new website.

I will share one of these per month for each Shimmerz Product Line.

Today I am sharing the NEW Shimmerz Aqua Huez.

I am in love with these watercolors.
