Card and Tag by Jennifer Marie

Hello Shimmerz addicts,

Today, it's my turn to post on the blog. I am so happy to be part of this team.
It is really a pleasure to play with inks and paintings ... The pastes and textures of "TEXTUREZ"

For his 2 sheaves I played with the "TEXTUREZ" and "SHIMMERZ"

To start, I spread out using my knife, "texture" Gold mine, its sanded texture gives a dimension and texture to the creation. Once dry, I spread out my "texture" Sandy stone, and once again dried.

Once all is dry, I have using my "Acritonez" 3 Sheets to the Wind, apply with my brush to some place to soften...
Then, place at my favorite moment: the assembly of the sheave.

Once every embellishment in its place, up to more colors ... And this time I used my "Shimmerz" Golden Wheat, to apply to some places of my embellishments.

I hope you like it ...

Used media:

- Texturez ( Gold Mine )
- Texturez ( Sandy Stone )
- AcriTonez ( 3 Sheets To The Wind )
- Shimmerz ( Golden Wheat )

See you soon
And good Shimmerz

Snapchat Cuties | Scrapbooking Tutorial with Irit

Hi! Irit here with a new project I created using some of the lovely new Acritonez and Pasteez! Here's the finished layout-

To create my background I used AcriTonez in Pinkadelic, Blue My Top and 3 Sheets To The Wind. To get that soft peachy color at the top I added a drop of No Yoking Coloringz  to my white and pink mixture. I spread the colors with an old gift card and let them dry, which takes no time at all. These paints dry super fast, perfect for impatient scrapbookers!

For those fun dots I used Pasteez in Baby Boy Blue and Raspberry Sherbert, and a stencil. I spread the pastes with a palette knife, mixing them in certain areas. The mix beautifully!

There's also, of course, a video tutorial-

If you place an order, mention my name and you'll get a freebie!

Thanks for visiting and don't forget to check out the Shimmerz website for these goodies and more!

Wish upon a star banner with Astrid

Hello Shimmerz friends! Today I have a little banner to share with you.
I had fun making this to decorate my (newly tidied) craft space :o)

I cut a banner shape from a size 12 manila tag, folded over the top and painted it with In the Navy AcriTonez. Then I added a layer of Weathered Wood Crackle glaze. While this was drying I mixed Blue My Top and Peas Be Mine AcriTonez with loads of gesso to get this soft blue tone. When the crackle glaze was touch dry I painted that over the top and that's how I got this background.
Next I layered up embellishments, some cheese cloth and artstones, using gel medium to glue them down.
Playing around with my sprays is always my favourite bit. I used Vibez Jeni B Bleu and Don't Rain on my Parade, and Coloringz Heidi Ho Blue and Chocolate Browny.
Some dry brushing with Gesso to bring out the textures.
Some stamping in selected areas

A little word plaque
A cord through the top and tassel at the bottom finished it all off.

Ok and now for the best bit :o)
Thanks for your visit today!

Grunging it up with Beck BT

Hey Everyone, it's Beck BT here today grunging it up on a fun masculine scrapbook page.  I had so much fun creating this page of my boys.  It was so much fun to create the layers of color and texture on the page with the help of some of my favorite Shimmerz products!

Products used:
Shimmerz Texturez - Gritty Graphite
Shimmerz Texturez - Tidy Widy
Shimmerz Paste-eez - Baby Boy Blue
Acritonez - Tar Tar

I started out on my page by creating the background using a stencil I had previously stencilled with on the background of another page.  I used the excess on my stencil to stamp with the Texturez pastes in both colours listed above onto the background of some white cardstock and this was the base for my page.

Next I added the Paste-Eez over the top brusing up and down. These are SO SO yummy!  They are like tubs of soft goodness spreading onto the page so easily.  I love that they are not opaque either so you can still see the sweet layers peeking out from underneath.

For the darker black I used the AcriTonez to add some black stamping.  This was so cool for this technique as the AcriTonez need no priming at all and give immediate opaque coverage.  Sometimes layering non opaque and opaque can give stunning effects.

Here are some more pictures of my page for you to get up close with all the layers.  As you can see I teamed my background up with some of my favorite papers from Simple Stories and also some elements from Coco Vanilla Studio.

I hope you enjoyed my share today!!  Keep scrolling down to see how you can get some free paint!

Till next time
