Spring Canvas with Astrid

Hello Shimmerz friends and happy April, the month that Spring is meant to start here in the Northern Hemisphere. So I decided to create a little Spring Canvas:

I have a few step out photos to show you how this came together.

I took a 6 x 6 canvas and layered on some scraps of paper

Next some further texture was added with the help of some stencils.

Then everything was covered with a thin layer of gesso, I also added a scrap of chipboard still on the left side as well as some background stamping.

I chose a few embellishments I wanted to use

But not before having selected my chosen colours first. This time I decided to use Vibez sprays only

These are the colours I used:

Egg-Noggin 

Palm Reader

Jeni B Bleu

Grape Escape

Quit Yer Wine-n

This is always my favourite part, I love to see how the sprays blend and play together.

Time for the finishing touches....

The flowers were glued onto the little paper clay frame that I made in a mold and coloured with the sprays to match

When doing a canvas it's always important to pay attention to the edges too. I used tissue tape, stamps and of course the sprays

And here another look at the finished piece.

Spring Canvas with Yuko

I made the canvas of the springlike hue

 using a photograph of the strawberry hunting this time!

【TIME】

。I used the green and pink in the fact that the spring and strawberries.

I attached clear dew drop and button a lot in the background and showed a three-dimensional impression.

I like that I bury a mesh sheet in a canvas.

It is easy to use it in the slight one which I do not insist on too much to accentuate.

I attached glass beads and stickles so that a feeling was given shiningly in spring.

Valentine Canvas with Yuko.

Hi! Shimmerz fun! It's Yuko here!
Today,I will share Valentine ~Pink heart canvas~！

This canvas size is 6x6".
Square is very cute!!!

【Just for you】

Coloring I used a lot of pink  of INKLINGZ and CREAMAEZ and mist.

Pink shade was twist white to leave

I tried a little yellow also added.

Dewdrop and brass beads, and with a change in the texture by using the mesh.

Canvas with Felicity

 

Hello. felicity here today.
My eldest son celebrated his 6th birthday yesterday. He had a super fun day at home, playing with all his new things he received.

A few weeks back I created a cute little canvas to sit on the dinning table which acted that day as the birthday table. He now has it placed on his bedside table!
I used lots of shimmerz to make it all sparkly.

 shimmerz used: Inklingz blue my mind and giddy about green

shimmerz key lime

Dazzlerz: sour apple

 Here's a little step by step on how I created the canvas.

First I gesso my canvas first, then apply some texture paste. I then spritz my canvas with water and then I put my inklingz on allowing the different tones to plenty and move around. I simply kept adding this I was happy with it.
I then add some of the shimmerz to areas to brighten it up and some dazzerlz to add a little more texture.

I then cut out my cupcake shape from a 6 x6 paper pad.
I added more texture with tissue paper to the bottom of the cupcake.
I used my finger in some shimmerz to run around the edge of the cupcake to add definition.
Then I just embellished the canvas till I was happy.
That super cute monkey flair came from a pretty little studio.

Canvas with Felicity

Hello Felicity here today.

End of the term, one of my boys teachers was getting married in the Easter holidays.
I was honoured to create a little something for her on behalf of the class.

I couldn't go past a little canvas in the colours of her wedding day and with lots of shimmerz and shine from the shimmerz products. I also used a lot of Crate Paper Craft market, which had a lot of gold glitter.

Needless to say she was in love with this little canvas.
