Shimmerz Unicorn | Ericka Strange

Hello Shimmerz fans and happy Tuesday! Ericka here today and I hope you made it through Monday and your week is going well.  Today I have a cute unicorn card I made using a variety of Shimmerz Paint products to make sure that my unicorn contained the most spark possible. After all unicorns and Shimmerz are know for their sparkle. 

I started by stamping the Unicorn from Picket Fence in Fadeout Ink so that I could do some no-line watercoloring with Shimmerz, Creameez, and Inklingz. These little pots are perfect for watercoloring and pack a lot of color and shine.

For my background, I tried a little something different. I used a stencil with the Spun Sugar Dazzlerz which is a shiny paste. Then, before removing the stencil I sprayed the stencil with Chick-a-dee Spritz and Jeni B Bleu Vibez. I then sprayed a little Goldie Lox Shimmeringz all over the stencil to help the colors blend.

Once my background was dry, I used foam tape to adhere the unicorn and sentiment to the card base.

I love all the beautiful shine this card has and how well all of the Shimmerz Paints products work together to create a unique card for a special friend.

Hello! Yuko here! I will share a layout used like watercolors.

Using shimmerz products ,INKLINGZ,CREAMEEZ ect...

  I like such a light color very much!

They become the soft atmosphere very kindly.

I painted with clear gesso  and colored a white base (card stock).

The heart applied INKLONGZ(PINKA-A-BOO) to the white card stock which I cut freehand.

I shine in pearl-like, and the real thing is very beautiful.

The leaf which I made hole through with a die of Sizzix applied CREAMEEZ(Daffeodill), 

but as it was slightly dark, I painted with gesso from the top and hung Prima Art suger afterwards.

After having colored a base it in a pink mist lightly this time,

 I stretch out CREAMEEZ (Piggy Pink) by the writing brush 

which fully touched water and I do it and use it 

for a picture in watercolors re-paint style.

Coloring I used a lot of pink  of INKLINGZ and CREAMAEZ and mist.

Pink shade was twist white to leave

I tried a little yellow also added.

Dewdrop and brass beads, and with a change in the texture by using the mesh.

Spring is very gently beautiful!

I love this season.

Was put a chip board or to punch the butterfly to the board.

To paint the gesso to fill all.

I was colored with INKLINGZ from above.

Additionally glass beads, glass glitter and lame powder were used.

First a point is colored thick.

It's to suppress the tone in JESSO at the end.

Shabby Chic Wall Art

Hi Shimmerz fans! Gabrielle here with you today to share something a little bit different.  I love browsing Pinterest, lots of inspiring artwork to be found there.  I've been admiring the fashion drawings of Katie Rodgers and thought I'd like to try doing a little fashion sketch using my Shimmerz Paints.

One of my favorite parts of this project was using the masking fluid with the water color paints, and then rubbing it off to the the almost glittery look to the dress.

I couldn't resist adding a bit of texture to the design with some texture paste and a stencil....then giving the design a wash of  a variety of colors from the Inklingz collections.

I framed this project and will be giving it as a gift for my beautiful sister for her home office.  She has a bright and pretty shabby chic theme going in her office so I thought this would be a nice surprise for her.
