Hello Friends, Felicity here today.
I had so much fun making this layout. Can you tell?

I am just loving a few of those pastel colours at the moment.  That I wanted to create a pastel type background with my Shimmerz. I used some of my favorite colours of blues, greens a dash of pink.

When I saw the Shimmerz shortz with Missy using a palette knife to move your shimmerz around with I had to try it too. It turned absouletly amazing. Pop over and have a look on the Shimmerz You Tube channel.

I finished off the page with some fussy cutting and lots of hand stitching.  Love how this came together.

Mini Album using inklingz / Felicity

Products used: Inklingz - Blue Lagoon / miner miner / corney flower blue

Hello Shimmerz friends, Felicity here today. I want to share today something fun with you and that is a super cute mini album I made.  I used inklingz and coloringz to create this album. Its super fun and not to difficult.

I started off by cutting a piece of cardstock in half (6 inch x 12 inch). Then at 4 inch intervals, (on the long side), I creased and folded it like an accordion style. I then joined the two pieces of cardstock together to make the album longer.

I started off by doing my cover first because I had already chosen a bunch of photos of my daughter to use in it, I could do my cover first. Then I layed out the photos I wanted to use on one side of the album. I wanted to use a photo, roughly every on second fold. The opposite I want to embellish. 

 I treated each section of the album as a little card or project life card instead of looking at the big picture as an album.

I  put all my shimmerz products first ( i didn't use any gesso, just shimmerz straight on the page). Once the shimmerz dried I then layer my photo and embellishments.

Then when I added all my photos and filled in the sections of the album I went in and added some transparencies and 3 x 4 inch project life cards just to add some interest to the album.

Stencils and Paste-eez / Felicity

                         Coloringz - Oh say can U sea / Heidi ho blue

Hi there! Felicity back here again today with a layout using some of new Paste-eez and coloringz. I had a lot fun with this page. 

First thing I did was use a stencil and a palette knife and scrap some paste-eez over the stencil. It didnt bother me that the colours touched other because these paste-eez blend so nicely together. I ended up with nice shades of green and blue and touch of the peach colour. So pretty together.

Then once they had dried, I fussy cut out the hearts. I applied some gesso to my page then used the coloringz to add some colour using some packaging. 

I then adhere the hearts on top with some glue and the sewing machine.

I then build my page with lots of layers from varies embellishements. 

I hope this inspires you today to use some stencils and paste-eez.

Easter Mini Album/ Felicity

Hello! Felicity here today to share with you a fun little Easter Mini Album on this Good Friday.
I have always wanted to document our Easter at home. Now, its nothing fancy for us at home, we try to remember the real reason of Easter. But there are memories and things the kids will want to remember. So I got myself I little orgainsed and created a Mini Album ready to just pop the photos in.

The size of my book is roughly 5 inches by 5 inches. I simply bound it with some twine in the middle.
I added quiet a few peices of white cardstock so that I could add some Shimmerz Colouringz and vibez. I wanted the nice bright colours to stand out. As I embellish and add more photos over the Easter weekend, I will add more shimmerz. What a mini album with  out shimmerz splatters! tee hee

I have already pre-decorated a few pages. These are just a start, so it will be added to as I put my photo in.

This is a photo I took already for my daughter with her bunny ears on. There is a lot dressed up cute little bunnies hopping around the house already.  This page I have popped a flap over the top and a photo of the other kids with their bunny ears will go underneath.

I have created a little pocket to add a photo strip or two of the kids on their egg hunt. I generally take a lot of photos of this, so I need a place to put more than two photos.

Of course its not Easter without some Bunny biscuits. The kids love helping making these. I think I will also pop in the recipe in too, that will be a lovely keepsake in a few years time.

This page is another pre-decorate one, ready to add a photo opposite too.  How cute is that little bunny from Crate Paper.

Felicity/ Easter layout using Actritonez and Aqua Huez

Hello Shimmerz fans,
Easter is not far away and shimmerz has some really beautiful shimmery colours to help document Easter this year. Today I have a layout using a real mix of products.

Products used: Aqua huez - Little Lily/ crazy daisy / blue me away / little boy blue 

Actritonez - 3 sheets to the wind / pinkadelic 

Coloringz - pink stiltoes / heidi ho blue 

Vibez - jeni B Blue/ sweet heart 

First off for my background I mixed some Actritonez with coloringz. The Actritonez acted as my gesso because there self priming and would stop the coloringz from bleding through the page.  I added is some Aqua Huez and paint splatters.

I started then building my page. I pop in some of those flowers that I made with paste-eez and coloringz. Pop to this video to see how I made them.

I used some scrap pieces of paper to create some of my own colour cardstock with the left over shimmerz. You can see the purple at the top of the page and the round circle.

Felicity / Actritonez layout with a process video

Hello shimmerz fans,

I have a new layout today to share that uses the new Actritonez, Paste-eez and colouringz.

Products used: Actritonez - 3 sheets to the wind/ overeasy/blue my stop / edgy eggplant / peas be mine / jiven jade / pinkadelic 

Paste-eez - salt of the earth

Colouringz: Pink stiltoes/ oh say can U sea / well blue me down / no yoking 

Vibez: Jeni B Bleu 

I wanted to experiment today and use the Actritonez as a primer, because these are already self priming, I wanted to just mix other shimmerz products with them and put them straight on to the cardstock with gesso. Because the  colouringz and vibez are mixed with Actrictonez, the colouringz and vibez would not bled through the paper and still allow them to move around in the page. They wouldn't get soaked up on the paper.

I just mixed the products together on some plastic and then put it down on my page. I had previously laid down some masking tape so I could create an abstract grid.

Then used some paste-eez and shimmerz together and used that as a bit of stamp pad to stamp out some images. I then cut these out and layed them into my page.

I loved mixed the coloringz and vibez together because the Actric tonez and paste-eez are a flat finish, mixing them gave them a shimmer.

Special Valentine Mini Album

Hello Shimmerz fans, Felicity here today.
I feel so very lucky to be blogging today on this Valentine day. I tried real hard to think of something 'extra' special to inspire you.
So I decided to create this super cute Mini Album full of pinks and reds.
I will let the pictures do the 'talking' today, sorry there's lots of them, and if you have any questions please leave a comment and I will answer you!
