Make It Campbells Instead

In my recent Magnolia kit i have received most of the goodies you can see on the card. I have stamped cute little 60's Tilda onto my favorite Neenah Classic Ultra white paper with Memento ink. The coloring was done very fast, that’s why i have added some extra interest with Shimmerz paints in Gold glimmer and Pixie Dust. I 'cleaned" my brush off around the Kraft CS so it just randomly glimmers too.

A Single Strawberry

Hello, thank you for visiting Shimmerz today. I have made this card with some of the papers that had nothing matching from the same paper line. This card was made with bottom to top with Basic Grey, Making Memories and Cosmo Cricket papers. buuhuu.. my last scrap of that yummy strawberry paper is gone. I have spritzed the card with the wonderful Shimmerz Babies Breath Spritz- not sure if it shows on the picture to give it that hopefully vintage look.

Under The Weather?

Today i would like to talk bit more about my card. The stamps is a Motivet Spring release but i thought he is so cute for fall too so i have ordered him the other day. I wanted to give my card that "wet" look, so i have started out with a acetate card base, than i have added to the rain drops lots of Stickles and on the ground where the water puddle is i added paper glaze. To deepen the shades of my coloring i have added to Dexters coat some Shimmerz paint in Marigold and to the frog "celery green. To make my epoxy tag, i stamped the sentiment, cut it out with Cuttlebug's "Tiny Tag" die and also added also lots of Paper Glaze to it. After it was dried i assembled the card. In the inside i have stamped "feeling under the weather"
To glue the papers on my card i use THIS glue! it is totally awesome. That stuff sticks AND you can not see the glue lines once dried on the backside of the acetate.

Stamps: Motivet "Dexter in a puddle",
Papertrey Ink "Hello", Amuse Art Stamps in the inside "under the weather"
Papers: Acetate foil and Making Memories
Embellishments:
Shimmerz (celery green on froggie, Marigold on "Dexters coat" ) Prima Marketing (flowers), Stickles, paper glaze, Stampin up ribbon, Button
Tools:
Martha Stewart "lattice punch"

Thank you for visiting today the Shimmerz Inspiration blog
Kind Regards Claudia Rosa

Once everything was finished i have used Shimmerz Spritz to give my card with "Dexter sledding" that extra "cold" look.

Think Pink

All papers are spritzed with Shimmerz fabulous product Spritz. The color i have used is called "Baby's Breath" Love it because i can use it pretty much on any project or color.

I would like to kept it short and sweet about my card. The only thing i would love to draw your attention to is that i always look for ways NOT to use Prima Flowers. If i have accomplished a cute card without using flower.. iam happy. I guess it is my personal challenge. With this one i was able to use up some scraps of the pricey Stampin up Taffeta ribbon.

Stamps: Motivet "Ballerina Hilda - CM 084 N", Sentiment: retiered Stampin up "just so sayings"Embellishments: Stampin up ribbons & hardware, Shimmers Spritz "Babys Breath"Design Paper: Imaginice and Stampin upTools: Nestabilities (Circle and Flower) Fiskars border punches

Lazy Days Of Summer

Hello, here iam with my first Magnolia Design Team card using all the wonderful supplies Magnolia has sent to me. I love to use Liquid Appique to add some dimension.. and not enough i always squeeze inside the "gaps" lots of Stickles. I guess i was in a "sparkely" mood so i used some of my Shimmerz paints in Caramel for the cone and some Candle light on the blue ice cream". Since the paints are really so different from Stickles it really one does not take away from the other media and it does look really nice if used together.

Stamps: Magnolia Lazy Days of Summer Collection "Berry Tilda" "Strawberry Ice Cream" are at 7kids College FundEmbellishments and papers: all by Magnolia (the ribbon i have found at Michaels)Other: Liquid Applique, Robins Nest, Stickles and Shimmerz paints in Caramel and Candle Light

Juicy

this is for now my final gift set made with the Magnolia Pet Collection stamps. Can you believe it??? The set is inspired by some Haribo candies my friend Crissy sent my son Lucas. The bag had the same parrot on the front.. i just colored it a bit different to match my paper. The parrot is first colored with Copic markers but than i added a thin coat with Shimmerz paint "under the sea" as you can see it still lets the colors shine through but gives a nice shine and sparkle

I do agree the papers are not very tropical.. but i still like the combination. I like to leave some cards without a sentiment.. this way i can just use them when i need one for an occasion. Always nice to have something like this in the drawer.
