Hello everyone! We have been SO busy this fall constantly raking leaves from the 11 huge trees in our yard. We took a little trip to a state park to enjoy the beautiful foliage. I cut some leaves from my Silhouette Cameo, and then colored them with all kinds of colors of Shimmerz!
I began with my background patterned paper, which I gessoed and misted with Vibez in "Snow Way Man" and Spritz in "Hint of Mint".
Next, I cut some leaves from my Silhouette Cameo from white cardstock, and used several colors of mists to colors them hues of purple, yellow, and orange, with a bit of brown. The colors I used include Coloringz "Moody Mauve", Coloringz"Mandarin Mai Tai", Vibez "Rolling in the Hay" , Spritz "Treasured Hymn", and Coloringz "Scarlett's Fever".
I backed my photo with patterned papers, added some chipboard frames to each side, and then created clusters of my leaves on the top and bottom of the photo. I ad intended to machine stitch some veins in the leaves, but I glued them down before I realized it, and it was too late! So faux stitching it is!
After my leaves were in place, I embellished with some more stickers, die cuts, and sequins, added my date and journaling, and then I was done!
