Hi everyone! The team at Shimmerz Paints here. Every year, we always do a color challenge as a team to branch out and try something new. A color we normally wouldn't use. Not only do we do this to broaden our color usage but we do it to grow in our artistry. We push ourselves out of of comfort zones and find a new love for a new color.
This Spring, we're doing something similar. Spring inspires blooming techniques and bold patterns. We're excited to introduce the Shimmerz Paints Spring Forward Challenge! March 1st - March 31st, our team is doing one project with NO PATTERNED PAPER *Gasp*. You heard right: No patterned paper. We are creating our own backgrounds using Shimmerz Paints products. We want you to join us too! One lucky winner will win a $50.00 Shimmerz Shop credit on us. How does this work, you ask?
1. Create a layout, card, watercolor canvas or journal process background using Shimmerz Paints products. Any color, any technique, any texture. Just try not to use pattern paper at all. Watercolor, textured and smooth cardstock of any color is welcomed. Ephemera, embellishments and cut files are welcomed as well!
2. Upload your project to our Shimmerz Paints Facebook group Shimmerz Sharez or any other form of social media using the hashtag #shimmerzspringchallenge

3. The challenge begins March 1st and goes through March 31st. One winner will be chosen on April 1st, 2020 to receive a $50.00 Shimmerz Shop store credit. Our winner will be tagged and contacted via social media.
