Hey there Shimmerz fans! I'm here today with a fun, shimmery card made using some ordinary cardboard. I love the look of cardboard on cards, layouts and anything crafty. It gives a great texture to things. And then add some Shimmerz products to it and it looks amazing!
I used several different Shimmerz Products for this card.
~ Baby's Breath Shimmeringz
~ Cotton Candy and Truffle Spritz
~ Spun Sugar and Barely Blue Dazzlerz
First, cut a piece of cardboard from a box to the size you would like. Then carefully tear off the top layer of paper exposing the "inside" of the cardboard. I then spread some Spun Sugar and Barely Blue Dazzlerz randomly over the cardboard using a palette knife.
Then while still wet, I tore up some pieces of vintage print paper and added it to the cardboard. I then sprayed the book print lightly with some Truffle Spritz to give it an aged look.
Next, using some plain white Rose flowers, I generously sprayed them with some Cotton Candy Spritz.
Next, I sprayed them with the Truffle Spritz to give them an aged look as well.
I then embellished the cardboard and added it to my card base. I also cut out a cardboard heart and "Shimmered" it up the same way as the main panel using the Spun Sugar and Barely Blue Dazzlerz.
When finished, I sprayed the entire card with some Baby's Breath Shimmeringz to give it its final shimmery look!
I hope you have a shimmery day!!
