This Smile Layout by Missy

Hey there!  Missy back with you today.  I have a sweet layout to share with you today featuring several Shimmerz products.  I started with white cardstock, a square grid stencil and some Texturez in Tidy Widy.  I love giving my backgrounds texture, and this is a great way to begin.  Once that dried, I came in with some Coloringz in Well Blue Me Down, which is a teal color.  I sprayed it onto some plastic packaging and smudged it on top of the Texturez design.  Next, I used a mix of Creameez and Inklingz in various yellow and gold tones.  Finally, I added in some pink shades with Inklingz in Beets Me.  I did add in some Dazzlerz after my paper layers and photo were adhered.

I used the American Crafts 5th and Frolic collection from a few years ago for this page.  I love the teals, yellows and pinks mixed together.  Here you can see the texture from the Texturez as well as the pretty tones of yellow and gold.  I love the different finishes that the Inkingz and Creameez give.  I love how they all look with all of these paper and embellishment layers.

After I adhered my papers and photo, I used a lined stencil and some of the Sea U in the Mornin' Dazzlerz to create more texture and to give a pop of color.  I layered my Thickers right on top of it as well as this hot air balloon sticker and my flair buttons.

I used a circle stencil and my finger to apply the Beets Me Inklingz.  I just barely dipped my finger into the paint and then smudged it on through the circles.  It felt like finger painting!  So fun, and I love the messy look it gives.

You can see how this layout came together and how I created this background in my process video here.  Thanks for watching, and I hope it inspires you somehow :)

Thanks for stopping by today, and have a wonderful day!
