September Guest Designer- Melinda Thompson- Week 3

Its week 3 in September.  A busy month....it's flying by!

Welcome back again Melinda.....

"Hi Everyone.

Melinda with you again today.

I have used the following Shimmerz Products to create this layout.

Coloringz – No Yoking

Coloringz – Valentino

Shimmerz – Sugar Plum

Shimmerz – Pumpkin

In the background of this layout I firstly punched out some circles and just glued them down.  Using the Shimmerz – Sugar Plum I dipped my finger into the little jar and traced around the outside of the circles. Once this was dry I added some stamping to enhance the circles.

My next step was masking with some modelling paste.  Once that was dry I used a fine paint brush and went around the masked area with some Coloringz – No Yoking. Then I went over it with some Shimmerz – Pumpkin. I noticed once I added the Shimmerz, the modelling paste started to crackle...what a cool effect!

Then lastly, after all my embellishments were added I dripped some Shimmerz – Sugar Plum on them.  Love how the Shimmerz adhered to the metal embellishments."
