Have A Monsterrific Day!

Happy October, everyone! Today, I'd like to share a card I made, using two of the new Fall color releases, Licorice Spritz and Wed Wagon Shimmerz.

In the picture below, you can see that I painted some of the Wed Wagon, Shimmerz onto the eyes and arms of this little monster. Adding the Shimmerz, really made these pieces "pop" and added a lot of personality to this guy!!!

I used some of the Licorice Spritz and brushed on a coat of the paint to the monster's eyelids.

Then as an after thought, I decided to spray the edges of the monster's body with more of the Spritz, just to add some depth. To protect the rest of the card, I used some 3" transfer tape to mask it off before spraying.

Supplies used:
Pink Paislee - Patterned paper, glitter alphas, cardstock letters, chipboard borders and chipboard shapes

Shimmerz Paints - Shimmerz Spritz (Licorice) and Shimmerz (Wed Wagon)

Technique Tuesday and Maya Road - Chipboard (eyes and nose)

Cardstock: Bazzill Basics

Other: Fur trim and raffia from Hobby Lobby. Computer font (Mystic)

Have a monsterrific day!!! :)
