Antique a Tin!

Good morning, it's Patter again. :) I wanted to share with you an altered tin I created for my mother. This tin contains photos of all of her grandchildren. She asked for one to carry in her purse. I sure hope she likes it! Anyway, I only used Coffee Shimmerz on this creation but the two different ways in which I used it really makes the Shimmerz look uniquely different.

First, I used the Coffee Shimmerz to paint over some acrylic paint on this altered tin. Look how it changes the look of the paint. The first photo is the tin just with acrylic paint, and the second photo is after I covered it in Coffee Shimmerz. You can also see the chipboard I covered in Coffee Shimmerz in the second photo. Look at the different, unique look the same color brings to each piece! Isn't that wonderful? Next, I finished the tin, and here is how it turned out. See the antiqued edge? That's the Coffee Shimmerz! Pretty cool, huh?Papers: Memory Box Dewfrost, Memory Box robin's egg cardstock
Stamp Ink: SU close to cocoa
Paint: Shimmerz coffee, Making Memories shopping bag
Embellishments: Rose Moka brown alphabet stickers, Deluxe Designs chipboard, May Arts ribbon, Prima flowers, misc. buttons, Create Café felt flowers, Making Memories staples

Well, I hope you enjoyed today's creation! Be sure to pick up some Coffee Shimmerz with your order today! :) Have a blessed day!
