Day Two - Shimmerz New Releases

****If you have not made it through the new Education Team's Video Blog Hop- Click, Click, Click :) There are SO many amazing techniques and tips that you will be wanting to break out the Shimmerz right then! Plus, there are tons of chances to win the new Fall colors****

Today is another Fabulous day for our Fabulous Design Team to showcase our Fabulous New Fall colors. Which today is the first day of fall....How fitting is that? I can not even begin to tell you how exciting it is to work with this group of ladies. Their creations are always amazing! With the new Vintage Fall Colors, each DT member has went all out. Today the first thing I want to share with you is an absolutely amazing altered item by Jennifer Beason. I would love to take this off her precious hands :D Amazing. Take a look:

Hello everyone! I am loving these new Fall colors by Shimmerz. The rich, beautiful colors inspired me to create this Halloween project. I combined Pink Paislee's Twilight and Amber Road lines with Shimmerz on this project because..... It's as if they were made for each other!!! :)

Below, you can see a close up of the dress form's post. After painting with black section of the post with acrylic paint, I sprayed it with the Licorice Spritz to give it a slight sheen. The striped patterned paper was coated with the Vintage Wine Blingz, one of my favorite new colors!

One of the things I love about with Shimmerz Paints, is that it allows you to customize your embellishments. In the picture below you can see the beaded stems and leaves that I custom colored for my project. The glass beads were spritzed with about three coats of the Rock-A-Fella Blue. I spritz the leaves with Bamboo Leaf first, then brushed on some of the Mossy Stone Blingz. I wanted the color a little darker in spots, so I used a bush to apply some of the Licorice Spritz.

Shimmez Supplies Used:
Spritz (Licorice, Rock-a-Fella Blue and Bamboo Leaf)
Shimmerz (Vintage Wine and Mossy Stone)
