Each flower shown here started out white. I then painted it with Shimmerz paint. Usually to help speed up the drying time, I use my heat gun on the backside of the flower for just a few seconds, being careful not to overheat the flower.
This one does have the LE Beeswax color on the far left. I wanted to give a close up comparison of some pinks, greens, and yellows. The Sunflower and the Evergreen have two flowers, the one closest to the Shimmerz jar is to demonstrate what several coats of the paint looks like, the rest of the flowers are just one good coat.
And here is a picture comparing Beeswax, Golden Wheat, and Sunflower. The Sunflower has two flowers, again, the one closest to the jar has several coats of Shimmerz.
All of the flowers shown here started out white and then were painted with Shimmerz. You enter a whole new world of color by first coloring the flowers with a marker and then painting with Shimmerz! The color possibilities are endless!

WOW!! Beautiful flowers. Thanks so much for sharing the chart. I told my LSS about Shimmerz paints yesterday..she's going to order them. Whoo-Hoo!! Can't wait to play!!
Have a nice weekend....
I enjoyed seeing the comparison chart ... but I LOVE and really really NEED that witch flourish stamp image on your Halloween sample. I see you credited Inkadinkado ... and I found the "witch" part ... but I'm having no luck with the "flourish" part. Can you provide a bit more information? PLEEEAAASSSSSEEEEEAE!
Loydene, I hope you'll check back here because I couldn't find another way to contact you via your profile... Anyway the witch stamp Kisa used is part of a set called "Halloween Trails" from Inkadinkado. One of the stamps in the set includes the witch and the trail of stars, skulls, spider, bats and Jack-O-Lanterns behind her as she flies on her broom.
Beatiful! I need to get me some Shimmerz. I've never tried them before.
xoxo,
Lori
