November 2025 Color Kitz | Fall is in the Air | Stephanie Dang

     Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and I'm back on the blog today to share my project using this month’s color kitz. Perfect for documenting your Autumn festivities! You will find all supplies to recreate the layout at the bottom of my blog post.

Step 1: Prep white cardstock with gesso and let dry. Splatter Twinkz (Plant On Me), VIBEZ (Rose Gold Red), and VIBEZ (Ocean Water) all over the page around the center using water, waterbrush, and tapping around page.

Step 2: Cut a bunch of 2 x 2 in assorted pattern papers and diecut borders using a variety of border dies and cut them out in solid colors. Place them around page to your liking and also adding your framed photo.

Step 3: Add fun embellishments and enamels around page and finish with some titles and subtitles.

• Shimmerz Paints NOVEMBER 2025 Color Kitz,  VIBEZ (Rose Gold Red), TWINKZ (Plant On Me), VIBEZ (Ocean Water),  modeling paste,  gesso, foam adhesive, and regular adhesive.

November 2025 Color Kitz | Feelin' Gourd | Stephanie Dang

    Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and I'm back on the blog today to share my project using this month’s color kitz. Step 1: Start with orange stripe background. Take the white cardstock and trim 1/4" off each edge and prep with gesso. Let dry.

Step 2: Work with mixed media using Vibez "Rose Gold Red" and Vibez "Burned Out" (this month's exclusive color and spray them around center of page. Create a splatter look effect. Let everything dry.

Step 3: Glue that to the orange stripe background. Take the plaid and tear off two edges and layer that on the main background on top and bottom of page. Tear off the acorn leaves and layer that on top of the plaid at top of page. Tear off the word paper edge and layer that towards bottom of page.

Step 4: Use a rectangular die to diecut a rectangle frame in green plaid paper and attach off center towards left side. Add photo framed in white cardstock. Embellish as seen in photo.

April 2025 Color Kitz | Hello Spring Layout | Stephanie Dang

Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and I'm back on the blog today to share my project using this month’s color kitz. This kit is so fun and filled with bright cheerful colors. You will find all supplies to recreate the layout at the bottom of my blog post.

Step 1: Start with the black and white paper for the background.  Trim 1/4" off each edge of grid paper. Prep paper with gesso and let dry.

Step 2: Add Orange Sherbet Shimmerz, Mustard Seed Vibez, and this month exclusive kit color: Shimmerz Wee Bit O' Green. Using a brush and water- move those colors around one color at a time with a combo of color and water.

Step 3: Trim green butterfly paper to about 5"x 5".  Trim the diamond paper to  about 3.5" x 5". Trim polka dot paper to about 1" x 6".  I never measure exactly and only eye ball papers to my liking.. so this is a rough estimate. The outcome shouldnt be much of a difference.

Step 4: Layer the papers as seen in photo. Add the photos framed in white cardstock.

Step 5: Play around with embellishments.

Step 6: Add your title and finish with stitching around the borders.

April 2025 Color Kitz | My Sunshine Layout | Stephanie Dang

Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and I'm back on the blog today to share my next project using this month’s color kitz. What better way to welcome spring than a layout filled with fun colors and cute images? You will find all supplies to recreate the layout at the bottom of my blog post.

Step 1: Start with blue stripe paper for background. Trim 1/4" inch off each edge of the orange grid paper. Prep with white gesso around center. Let dry.

Step 2: Add Wee Bit O Green Shimmerz, Pip-Pip Cerry-O Shimmerz, and Born to Be Blue Coloringz to page using brush with water. Adding splatters with each color that you use. Add your photos framed in white cardstock.

Step 3: Color in the sun, umbrella, hot air balloon, boots, and frog. Add them to layout as seen.

Step 4: Add the rest of the embellishments such as the tab, title, phrase, and tree.

Step 5: Add all enamels and dotz (Spring). Finish with stitching on the tab and around the border of layout.

Using Shimmerz February 2025 Color Kitz | XOXO Layout by Stephanie Dang

Hi everyone! I’m Stephanie Dang, and this is my SECOND design team project for Shimmerz Paints. I’m super exited to be sharing my next layout using this month’s color kitz. Cuteness overload is what I have to say about this layout along with this month’s kit. It is filled with adorable classic Valentine’s Day images that you really don’t have to use it for a lover. I will show you how I use this collection to document my nephew. You will find all supplies to recreate the layout at the bottom of my blog post.

Step 1: Start with the outline of hearts background, prep with white gesso towards bottom, and let dry.

Step 2: I took the curvy background paper and trimmed off the access, and set it aside. This will go towards the bottom left of my page after I am done with mixed media.

Step 3: I added Gladiola (Vibez) color to my page using water and a brush. Also add a few splatters by tapping my brush. I only did enough for it to show pass my photos and potential embellishment spots.

Step 4: I added stiching to the curvy background. Then I added the curvy background to my page to create a pocket. I added stiching along the edges of my layout.

Step 5: I added my photos framed in white cardstock.

Step 6: I embellish my page as seen with ephemeras from the kit, and butterflies that I found from a local scrapbook store. Add dimensional adhesive along the way to make it pop. I finished my layout with gold bling and “Lips” Dotz (by Shimmerz Paints).
