Hey, it's MK! During the month of May, a few of my fellow YouTubers and myself join together for a month long celebration called May I Scraplift You. A few months back I found the perfect lift for a Shimmerz project that was created by Paige Evans. Here is my version of the scraplift:
I picked a black and white printed paper, Added some texture paste through a dotted stencil and set that off to dry. Then I took a plain white cardstock and used Shimmerz Orange Sherbet, Bumbly Bee, Rita on the Rocks and In the Navy to paint 4 rectangles. I will use these rectangle to cut out my stars.
Once my background was dried, I used Inklings in Tarnished Treasures and Miner Miner 49er to add some splattering around the colors. While that was drying, I cut scraps of papers for my photo mats and picked out a few embellishments.
I scattered my stars on top of their matching colors and used foam to adhere them to the layout.
A super simple, yet colorful layout. Lastly, I added a sketchy border around the layout and called it complete.
That is all that I have for you today. Thank you so much for stopping by! Here is the process video, if you'd like to see how this layout came together:
