Shimmerz Paints

Family - Joanne Bartell - Shimmerz Paints 

Hello friends! I hope everyone is doing great and having a fabulous fall/autumn. 

For this 12 x 12 layout, I used the Simple Stories Cozy Days collection, along with Shimmerz Paints Marigold and Inklingz Good as Gold. 

I first determined the placement of my 2 photos and my embellishments, then lightly drew around the photos with a pencil so I would know where the paints needed to be applied. I used the paper towel technique (my name for it anyway LOL), to dab up the Shimmerz Paints onto a paper towel and made  a dab and twist motion with my wrist along the square border of the photos. 

I repeated this process with both Shimmerz colors, being sure to dry off the first color before apply the second color. This avoids any unwated color mixed, which could create a third color you may not want. 

I had a blast making this layout of me and two of my lovely cousins. I embellished with die cuts, chipboard embllies, metal die leaves, and Bramble Fox acrylic perspextives for the finishing touches.
