For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, Painting Is Self Discovery

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat,and made a mat also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard,ripped some of the paper off, and brushed on white gesso. While it was wet I sprinkled on UTEE and heated it. I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers. I taped on  flowers,chipboard, and a shell, and taped and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.I rubbed on gold and pearl mica powder on different  areas. 

 

To add visual interest I added glass beads,sequins,gold leaf,copper leaf.sisal,iridescent wrapping paper, strands of cheesecloth,tulle, crystals,a shell,pearls, glass glitter, chipboard,flowers,and bling and metal from my stash.

                                              A lot of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.
