A very Vintage Holiday card with Astrid

Hi Shimmerz friends and thanks for your visit here today. It's my turn to share a project and this is my first holiday card for this year using my lovely Shimmerz products.

These are the products I used for this card, just 3 of them, I wanted to stay in a vintage monochrome for this one....

So below are some details of how I put this together:

I matted 3 different layers together, 2 scrapbook papers and some kraft card in between. I then added some stencilling with texture paste, when dry I covered it with clear gesso and then set to work with my sprays.

When the sprays had dried I highlighted the snow flakes with the Angel's Kiss Inklingz shimmering paint. This paint needs to be activated with water, but if you add just a little water and then after waiting for a few minutes give it all a really good stir, it turns into to creamiest shimmering paint, just perfect for high lighting elements like these snow flakes.

Next I worked on my focal image, a vintage santa stamp (by Deep Red). I coloured it with markers and distress inks, masked the centre and then used the same sprays so it would blend in colour wise with the background.

I then  die cut some elements I wanted to use around the focal stamp. I embossed them and then highlighted the raised bits with the Angel Kiss again, but before it had dried I also added some glitter to give it some real holiday sparkle.

I arranged everything around my santa and I was done.
