2 Shimmery Cards with Melissa

Hello there!! I am so thrilled to be doing my first post with Shimmerz! Again! I was on the Shimmerz DT back in 2009 but had to leave for personal reasons. Thank you Stacey for having me back! :)

          Celebrate Card~

Here are the Shimmerz Supplies that I used to make this card.

Dazzerlz ~ Spun Sugar
Vibez ~ Palm Reader
Coloringz ~ Well Blue Me Down
Spritz ~ Bamboo Leaf

I started off by spreading some Spun Sugar Dazzerlz onto a piece of kraft card stock using a palette knife.

While wet, spray the Palm Reader Vibez, Well Blue Me Down Coloringz and Bamboo Leaf Spritz onto the Dazzlerz.

Then, again while still wet, carefully place stencil onto the card stock. Lightly press down and then carefully lift straight up.

When dry, decorate as you wish! It makes a great texture card with lots of shimmer and shine!

And since I was so excited to "play" with my Shimmerz Products, I decided to make a Christmas card. It will be here before we know it!! This card has a snowy, frosty feel to it.

                   Noel Card~

Here are the Shimmerz Supplies I used to make this one.

Texturez ~ Tidy Widy
Shimmeringz ~ Baby's Breath
Spritz ~ Truffle
Shimmerz ~ Wed Wagon
Blingz ~  Gold Glimmer and Pixie Dust

For this card, I first sprayed some Truffle Spritz onto some Christmas book print to give it an "aged" look.

Then using a palette knife, I added some Tidy Widy Texturez randomly to the paper.

I then added some Gold Glimmer Blingz to some die cut twig wreaths. One was cut using kraft and the other in a green card stock.

I then colored some seam binding ribbon for my wreath by first spraying some Baby's Breath Shimmeringz and completely wetting it. I then added several "drops" of Wed Wagon Shimmerz and some more Baby's Breath to spread it around the ribbon. I then added a few sprays of Truffle Spritz to give it a vintage look. Crumble it up into a ball and let dry.

I then adhered my wreath and ribbon onto the card front and added some more Tidy Widy Texturez to it. Love the snowy feel it gives the card. To finish off the card, I added a stamped sentiment, pearls and to give the card an even more icy look, I added some Pixie Dust Blingz to it as well.

Don't forget, on your next Shimmerz Paints order, just mention my name, Melissa B. in the "Notes to Merchant" section in the PayPal checkout, and you will receive a FREE Shimmerz Paint Product in your order! ;)
