Simple Watercolour Cards

Hi there.

Welcome to the Shimmerz Blog today. :-)

I am sharing a really simple watercolour technique on watercolour paper, using Shimmerz new line of Paints "Inklingz".  Its nothing new. Just simple watercolour application using Inklingz, which produces a lovely 'no fuss' coloured background to what ever project you might be planning. I am using mine today for Project Life, so all my cards are cut to 3 x 4 Inches. But you could do this for the background of cards or layouts...... What ever takes your fancy.

I love watercolours, so I was really just playing with Shimmerz New Inklingz today, and I love the results. I will be building on this, because they turned out fabulous. I did the most basic step of just stamping on the cards when they had dried, but they would look great with stickers and labels layered on them to....cant wait to continue!

See the quick video below.

I drew on these cards with a black fine tipped sharpie, and it worked perfectly. I was a little worried the paint might melt a bit with the wet pen, but it didn't move at all.

If you have not tried Inklingz, I think you need to look into them, if you like working with paint, and making your creations a little arty.

I am totally in love with them!
 Thanks for dropping by today.
