Kids Ornament Appreciation Tags and some Art Journal art

Hi there.

I am here sharing some tags I added to our tree this morning for my kids. They are just a little reminder for them that we are proud of their accomplishments for the year and that they are special to our family. They are cute, very simple yet very meaningful.
I think I have found a new Christmas tradition. I might start doing these each year and put them on a book ring to hang on the tree, making a little mini book of years past, with all the reasons they are important and loved-updated each year.
 So heres a little look....

I sprayed several Shimmerz Paint colours onto a craft sheet and dabbed the tags into the puddles of paint, creating this mottled colour effect.
(colours-Pop art Pink Vibez, Sea Foam Spritz, Eucalyptus Spritz, Sapphire Spritz)

I decorated each with some hand drawn doodles and a White Souffle Pen.

 For this tag.....
I used Shimmerz Paints (Sea foam Spritz) and sprayed it onto my craft sheet, then using a brayer, brayered the paint onto a strip of cardstock, which I later cut into tags.

The piece below is a page from my art journal painted with Shimmerz Paints.
I used my aqua brush for this, just dipping straight into the pots and dabbing on my craft sheet to dilute, or applying straight to the images.

Colours used

Sunny side up
Carrot top
Blue into town
Mint Julip
Santa Baby

As many have been reminded all over the world, the past week, how precious our children are, todays post is dedicated to reminding our kids how important they are to our families.
Hug your little ones today!
