Just sharing a layout that I did using some gorgeous Shimmerz with a template. I have created my own background paper by simply spraying some Shimmerz Spritz and Vibez. I have coordinated my designed cardstock with My Minds Eye new collection, So Sophie.
With a white cardstock, I usedmy Chatter Box Doodle Plate(Botanical) as my template. Sprayed 2 colours of Shimmerz Spritz (Sea Foam and Tuscan Sun) and 1 colour of Shimmerz Vibez (Grape Escape). Doing this technique is very recommendable if you want to create your own patterned paper from a plain cardstock. You can choose your own colours and play around.
The effect of the Spritz and Vibez is really gorgeous. After spraying on the template, I added a few more random spray without the template. It added softness to the patterns.
On the tree and bird, I have painted it with the New Shimmerz Pearlz Samrock and Sunny Side Up. I wanted this part to be the focalpoint of my layout thus making it shimmery and more vibrant.Thanks for dropping by!
