Shimmery Background

Hi Everyone!
Today I wanted to show you how I created my
Shimmerz-y PERFECT blue background on this layout:

I started out with Jenni Bowlin's Coordinations Core

Cardstock Stars in the ivory/cream color.

I sanded it to reveal the tan underneath...

next I took Shimmerz Vibez in Jeni B Bleu (my FAVE go to color right now!)

and sprayed the ENTIRE cardstock.

I REALLY love how it took the tan stars and turned them silvery/gray...

After it dried (with a little help of my heat gun)

I finished my layout then sanded a line of stars, leaving them a tiny bit lighter than the

background.

One of my new favorite techniques. If you can't find the color

you're looking for in your stash...

get out your Shimmerz in the color you need

then go to town coloring it perfectly!

I also sprayed my chipboard stars in Vibez Sunset Strip, Jeni B Bleu along with
Sea Monkey and Shimmerz Spritz in Concrete.
