NEW "Samrock" Pearlz!

Field Trip by Jana Eubank

I recently went with my daughter on a school Field Trip to a dairy farm. For my page, I wanted the colors and accents to have an old country, shabby feeling to them.
I started with a Kraft cardstock base (spritzed with Bed of Roses Spritz and Hot Fudge Vibez) and added soft tones of peach, green, aqua, and cream.
(Doesn't that color scheme remind you of the days when Geese were a popular decorating choice?! :D Gotta love it!)

I painted a sheet of bookpaper with Samrock Pearlz then puched out flower shapes and layered them together for page accents.
The title and green scallop shapes were created from Kraft cardstock and then painted with the Samrock Pearlz again.

I love that the Kraft paper makes the green a slightly darker green, adding a bit of contrast to the page design. Finally, I used 3 dimensional paint to add the "tole-painting" inspired dots to the scallops and title pieces.
