Recycled Wreath

Hello everyone! This is Lori S. and I am guest designing for Shimmerz this month. Here is my latest project for the holiday season, made from recycled book pages, and it cost no more than the price of the wreath from the dollar store!

This is a 10 inch foam wreath that I covered with individual pages from a book I am altering for another project! I rolled each page and hot glued them to the wreath. After it was covered in several layers, I used Olive Branch Shimmerz Spritz. I used a heat embossing gun to dry and fluff pages into shape. On the tips I painted metallic gold acrylic paint and Gold Glimmer Blingz. I am probably going to add another layer or 2 to fluff it up more, add some more Shimmerz, and then I want to add a bow. Hope you find it inspiring!
