Simple Beauty

Here is just a fun layout that I did last month at Scrap for a Cure. One thing you may not know about me, is that I am also a digital scrapper as well, and I LOVE the look of the layouts that are full of white space, and seem so flawless. Well, I went to Oscraps.com for some inspiration, and looked through the galleries of Taylor Made Designs and Paiselee Press and found the inspiration that I was looking for. The layout I made is a traditional paper layout, which has the feel of a digital layout. Just fantastic!

I used my
Shimmerz Spritz in Licorice and Treasured Hymn to
add some texture to the layout and just spritzed on the upper and lower corner of the layout. I used rub-ons for the "typed" text (which is actually very close to what these two digital designers offer with their designs!) so I was excited to be able to replicate that in this layout. Finally, I hand cut out some flowers from the pattern paper in the September main kit, and here is the result of the traditional layout with a digital feel to it:
Awesome, don't you agree??? The Shimmerz adds just the right touch to this layout!
