Hello :)

I thought I would pop by and introduce myself. I am Roree and am new to the Shimmerz design team. I have to admit to you all that I am new to the whole misting trend. But from what I have tried so far I can tell you that it is a new favorite technique! Hopefully as time goes on, I will have better techniques and tips to share, but for now you will just have to bear with a "newbie." ;)


I made this layout about my daughter, who LOVES music. She her CD player or iPod and headphones wherever she goes.

I used Shimmerz Spritz in Licorice to add color and shimmer to the chipboard stars.

Now most of the time when I work on my projects, they don't just fall into place. I put things down, switch them around, take things away, add new things. So when I started on this layout, I ended up spritzing one star at a time, because I wasn't quite sure where I was going with it. I had layed out some wax paper to spritz my stars on, and I ended up using quite a bit of spritz on each star. I hate to be wasteful, so it got me thinking. The spritz beaded up on the wax paper, so between each star, I carefully folded the wax paper in half where the beads pooled together and added the spritz back into my bottle. And voila!!! More spritz for me to use the next time!
