Vintage Wood Plaque

I wanted to create something for our bedroom. I wanted something that was shabby chic, and vintage. I had a Kaiser Crafts frame with 3 pieces, and I decided to use one piece for the wall hanging. I painted the frame white, and once dry, I took my distress ink pad and lightly brushed across the frame until I acheived the look I was going for. I then cut two squares of Melissa Frances paper and distressed A LOT :D Once attached to the frame, I added an oval metal frame from K&Company. In the middle of the frame I placed a flower that I painted with Pixie Dust Blingz. I used a little paint brush and painted each petal. The Blingz was dry is a couple of minutes, and I then added a Melissa Frances keyhole as the center of the flower. I love the way the Blingz added the perfect touch to the wall hanging. Pixie Dust Blingz is one of those must have colors. It has a semi transcluscent color and is packed with so much Blingz. You can use 1 coat for a soft kiss of shimmer, or a couple of coats for a powerful splash of shimmery goodness. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope everyone has a Blessed day.

Blessings~~ Danielle
