Shimmerz Patterned Paper

If you follow this blog you know that two of my favorite things to paint with Shimmerz are white Prima flowers and patterned paper, only this time, the patterned paper was made by me!! It really started out from the same piece of white paper as the main image is stamped on!

I used an Inkadinkado Birds Galore clear stamp inked up with a Copic marker to create the pattern on the paper. (Copic dries pretty quick, but you can stamp with it as long as you keep the stamp nice and juicy and stamp quick, it dries waterproof so there was no smearing either!) Then I took Burgundy Shimmerz and painted right over the top - of course it is gorgeous IRL! The flower also started out white. I colored it with two shades of a pink Copic marker and then I painted over the top with Pink Shimmerz. The main image is also Inkadinkado. I stamped and embossed it, then painted in the little flowers with Pink Shimmerz. I love that you can basically customize anything with Shimmerz to make everything match perfectly!
