Feelin' Crabby

No.....I'm not crabby! Last week we took the kids up to Seoul to the aquarium. It's a wonderful aquarium and we all had a fabulous time. It's inside a HUGE mall...so really, you can't go wrong!

I took this picture of my husband sitting in front of the crab tank. This big ol' crab came walking right up like he wanted his picture taken. Isn't that thing gigantic?! I wanted to make a little 6x6 layout with this picture and I wanted to use a black and white photo. But I also wanted to keep the bright orange color of the crab. What to do..... Add Shimmerz!! I painted on some Marigold Shimmerz to Mr Crab. He was still a little scary to me, but some googly eyes fixed that!

I was searching for some alpha stickers to use with this to spell out the word crabby, but all I could find were some fun foam stickers. You know the ones you buy in the packages of 5-million or so? And they all come in pastel colors... But one layer of Shimmerz takes care of those colors - and gives you all the sparkle your alphas deserve!! I used Coal Shimmerz and Marigold Shimmerz on these. Underneath that coal Shimmerz is a pastel blue letter! The best part - they are peel and stick!! I love that!

I'm sure there are tons of fun things you can use the fun foam on with your projects - so next time you pull it out, try adding a little sparkle on top!!

Hugs, Jami
