Home Sweet Home With Shimmerz

This is my first post on the Shimmerz blog, and I have to say that I am quite excited to share with you my work :) This is a card that I created a couple of days ago for a challenge. The challenge was to do something Fun & Frilly, and even though I was ok with the way it turned out, I really felt like it was missing something. Yesterday, I decided to put a Shimmerz touch to it. The paper is from Webster's Pages, the cardstock is Bazzill, the brad is Basic Grey and the alphas are MM.

This is a close up picture of the butterfly. I used Hottie Pink Blingz and Royal Red Shimmerz together, and went around the edge of the butterfly's wings. I am so pleased with the way the Shimmerz really brought life to the butterfly. Even the photo does not capture the elegance it exudes.

Finally, here is a close up of the flower. It was a blue flower, and I just touched over it with a little Pixie Dust Blingz.
