Radiate Happiness | Color Kitz | Shannon Allor

 Hello friends!  It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this ever so bright layout featuring the Color Kitz, Paper Kitz & Bonuz Bundle.  I love documenting our family adventures!  My daughter and her gal pal trained for a half marathon and crushed it!

I used the packaging technique to add some gorgeous mixed media to a piece of cardstock from my stash.  I tore off the excess and attached it to the middle of this gorgeous tone on tone patterned paper.

I love lots of layering!  I used the die cuts, mixed media and lots of Sequinz to help to tell my story.

I created a Sequinz shelf under the photos for lots of drama!

For The Shimmerz Paints Design Team, A Wedding Is The Beginning Of A Beautiful Forever

To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto 49 and Market paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat,and then added two mats of watercolor paper. I put pieces of corrugated cardboard in between the mats.

I glued on beads and other items.

 I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.I rubbed on gold and pearl mica powder on a lot of the background and raised areas on the page.

To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads,sequins,pearls, crystals, glass glitter, tulle, feathers, lace,gold leaf, shells, iridescent wrapping paper,and bling and metal from my stash.

      Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.   

 Inklingz:  Plum Crazy, Bahama Mama, and Spotlight White.

      Shimmerz: Going Peach Side, Rita On The Rocks, and Colder Than Ice.

Sequinz: Lemonade Stand, Prom Night

I sprinkled on ultra thick embossing powder into the wet gesso and heated it with a heat gun.

 I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers, and glued on beads and other items.

 I brushed on Shimmerz Paints.I rubbed on gold and pearl,mica powder on a lot of the background and raised areas on the page.

To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads,sequins,pearls, crystals, glass glitter, tulle,a feather,lace,Iridescent wrapping paper,pressed flowers, and bling and metal from my stash. There are some fussy cut images from Graphic 45 papers.

      Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.

Sweet Spring Day | Color Kitz Collection | Shannon Allor

 

Hello friends!  It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this simple and sweet layout featuring the May Color Kitz, Paper Kitz & Bonuz Bundle.  I zoned right in on the strawberry elements and remembered that I had this photo of my daughter aka The Baker.  I kept things simple by using the smooshing technique to add some color to some cardstock from my stash and then gathered up all of the strawberry bits.

I could not resist creating a shaker out of this little oval element.  I love the movement!

I used foam adhesive to give all of the little strawberries dimension and let them cascade from top to bottom along with some Sequinz.

Petals & Possibilities | Color Kitz | Shannon Allor

Hello friends!  It’s Shannon up on the blog today bringing you this fun layout featuring the May Color Kitz, Paper Kitz and Bonuz Bundle!  I loved documenting this memory of a gorgeous vineyard in Northern Michigan!  I used the included Simple Stories stencil to add a bit of textured interest!

I love that we had a customizable black and white “coloring book” to paint in.  I look forward to an afternoon of simple painting every month!

You can see all kinds of layers in this photo.  I have the diecuts, the customized bits, the Sequinz and the vibrant patterned papers all hanging out together.
