Orange You Cute! | Creating With The July Color Kitz

 Oh my goodness! I absolutely love the July Color Kitz. The colors are so bright and remind me of all things summer. I started with a piece of 12x12 Mixed Media Foundation Cardstock. I pulled several paints from the kit to create a mixed media painted background. I used Sunny-Shimmerz, Orange You Glad-Coloringz, Lettuce Get Together-Creameez, and Evergreen-Shimmerz. 

Next I torn the patterned paper that has the oranges, lemons, and limes design on it. I added this torn paper horizontally across the top and bottom of the page. Next I cut a half inch strip of the orange plaid paper. My layout design is fairly simple and came together very quickly. 

I adhered the velum fruit ephemera to a piece of white cardstock and fussy cut them out. This gave the pieces a little more stability and allowed me to add some foam tape to the back of them. I backed my photos with various pieces of paper from the kit. 

I embellished with a few of the tiny foam dot stickers. With that my layout is complete. Remember when you shop on the Shimmerz Paints website you can add my name "Melissa Minor" to the notes section and
