To make this page, I stenciled Prima Platinum Texture Paste with a small spatula onto watercolor paper. I taped on watercolor paper under the image to make it stronger and to lie flat, and made a mat also. I took a piece of corrugated cardboard, ripped the paper off, and brushed on white gesso.
I sprinkled on ultra thick embossing powder into the wet gesso and heated it with a heat gun.
I added layers of corrugated cardboard in between the layers, and glued on beads and other items. I brushed on Shimmerz Paints, using colors similar to the June color kit.
I added a little gesso to show where the waves were breaking. I brushed or rubbed on gold, pink, and pearl mica powder on different areas.
To add visual interest I added microbeads, seed beads, glass beads, tulle, crystals, pearls, feathers, glass glitter, shells, and bling and metal from my stash.
I made the flower with 6 layers of polyester chiffon. I traced the circles around containers that were the size I wanted with a pen.then cut the circles out. I heated the edges over a candle. I dyed the layers then sewed them together, and glued on a pearl. I used Peacock Plume and Lilac Blossom to dye the layers.
I spread a little Glossy Accents under the photo and sprinkled on linen colored embossing powder. It was to get a little sand effect on the page.
Many of the items are glued on individually with Glossy Accents.
