Hello friends! I'm back with my second layout using the June Color Kitz from Shimmerz Paints.
I knew this kit would be perfect for documenting these very colorful photos of taking our granddaughter to the arcade. I couldn't wait to get started!
Even though the kit has a beachy theme, I didn't let that deter me. I chose the piece that I wanted to be my border first, so that I wouldn't cut into its edges.
Next, I saturated a piece of white cardstock with Spritz Walkin' A Tight Heliotrope and another piece with a combination of Vibes Jeni B Blue from the kit and Spritz You're the Zest from my stash. This created a perfect green color to die-cut some leaves from. I also die-cut some flowers from the purple.
I used my Cricut to cut my title from one of the patterned papers in the kit. The paper has multiple colors, so I had to pay attention to the placement of my cuts to achieve the desired colors for my words.
Finally, I added a few pieces of ephemera from the kit, and I was all done.
This one came together quite easily, and I love the results.
Let me know what you think. Also, don't forget to add my name to your Shimmerz order for a FREE product.
xoxo
