Hello, friends! I am back with a new layout for Shimmerz Paints using the March 2025 Color Kitz.
This layout idea had been floating around in my head for weeks, so I was excited to finally see it happen. I cut out two strips of patterned paper in varying sizes and fish-tailed both ends of each. Then, I spayed the centers of each strip to make them more pliable, gathered them in the center, and let them dry.
Next, I used the packaging technique to add color to my background. First up was Shimmerz in Peaches & Cream. I let it dry, then added Inklingz in Freshly Minted and let it dry. I adhered my strips to the center and added the photo to the center using 3 layers of foam dots. Finally, I pulled out some embellishments from the kit and a title from my stash to finish the page.
This simple layout is full of dimension and texture.
