Shimmerz Paints | MK Gunn | Be Happy. Be You.

 Hey, it's MK here with another layout using Shimmerz Paints.  I created a background around my layout elements to set the mood/feel for my subject matter. 

I used a scrap of cardstock to draw the size of square I wanted on the base page.  I knew my pencil lines would show, so I made sure to keep them light by erasing most of it away.  I just needed a guideline.  I used the packaging technique to pounce some Inklingz in Penny 4 Your Thoughts around the pencil line.  Then I took a paint brush and drew a messy line around the square also using Penny 4 Your Thoughts.  Once that was dry, I sprinkled Shimmerz Slow Ocean around my square.

I filled the square in with some chicken wire washi tape, leaving some to peak out from under the other page elements.

I took some scrap papers, cut them down to 8 1/2" long and tore some into 2" wide strips and others into 3/4" wide strips.  I then used washi tape to "glue" them together in a repeating pattern.  I glued the panel in the center of the square on top of the chicken wire washi.

Next I glued my photos to the panel and decorated around the photos with various die cuts and stickers.  Once the layout was finished, I sprinked the layout with Vibes Hot Fudge to make it look liek the messy background was spilling over onto the layout.  Lastly, I sprinkled Coloringz Well Blew Me Down around the embellishment clusters.
