The Secret to Having it all - a journal spread with Astrid

Hello all and thanks for dropping by here today. I have a quick journal spread to share with you.
I wanted to have a play with some Dazzlerz, these are the products I used:
Dazzlers Sea You in the Mornin and Gummy Berry Blue
Texturez Teal Me No Lies
Vibez: Egg Noggin, Palm Reader  Chance of Rain
Like usual I started with the background and brayered on the two colours of Dazzlers, I then used a stencil and some texturez and the sprays. This is what it looked like:

To be honest, I did not like it much, so decided to cover most of it up. It will never be a favourite, but you live and learn right?.... Anyway I used one of the wonderful Staks quotes you will find them in the Pickpocket Staks. I coloured them with a few spritzes of Eggnoggin and coloured pencils. Cut it apart and adhered them to my spread together with a vintage photo mounted on a piece of scrapbook paper and a few fussy cut butterflies. And that was it. Below a few close ups still:

Have a good one my friends, hope the sun shines on you and enjoy those Shimmerz paints. Until next time....

A wonderful spread Astrid, and with that amazing picture and the clever quote, that I just LOVE. And even you didn´t like the background, you have just as usual made something cool out of it, and the endresult is just amazing and sooo beautiful.

What a fabulous page spread - the warmth of the glowing colours is wonderful, and I love the wording as well as that regal little girl.
