This Side of Paradise

All that glitters isn't gold; after all, there is a chance it could be Shimmerz!

I am loving the extra sparkle that Shimmerz products bring to my pages. A spray of ink here and a dab of paint there, and this summery beach page came together with color and shine.

I began by misting areas of the background paper with Shimmerz Vibez (Rolling in the Hay, Jeni B Bleu, Sea Monkey, and Snow Storm) and Shimmerz Spritz (Sea Foam), and I added paint in some areas, using Shimmerz (Jilted Jade, Sky Blue, Candle Light), Shimmerz Pearlz (Sunny Side Up), and Shimmerz Blingz (Mello Yello). There's really no "method" here -- just roll with it. I used a lot of blues and yellows to emphasize the sun, sand, and sea connection:

I also used the Vibez and Spritz over strips of vintage sheet music, and layered these over the background paper. I love how evenly the spray covers paper, and the colors blend beautifully.

There is nothing quite like that lovely sheen that emerges from these bottles of liquid sunshine.
True to its name, Shimmerz shimmers!

I really like how you stitched the pages together. It adds an extra layer of texture that unifies the whole picture.
