We're having "Snow" much fun with Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps and Shimmerz!

I must admit I have not been privileged enough to own or work with any Cornish Heritage Farms Stamps before! LOL But I am glad I did now! They are such fun stamps and they stamp so crisp and clear too!

For my first project I decided to make a snowflake ornament using the set called Snowman and Puppy. Soo cute! At first though, I thought, "how am I going to use Shimmerz on images that are blacked out"? But guess what, even over the blacked images (hat, mittens, scarf, dog) Shimmerz shows through! For the snowman I first painted on some Angel Wings Shimmerz to his body and then when dry added another layer of Pixie Dust Shimmerz over that. It gave more dimension to his body. I then added some Sunny Shimmerz to his hat and scarf and some Aqua Marine Shimerz to the rest of the hat and scarf and to his mittens. I added some Coal Shimmerz to the dog. For the Snowflake itself, I used a Maya Road Coaster Album and I added some December Sky Shimmerz to the edges. I painted it on pretty thick to get a more "icy" feel. And lastly, I also added some Opal and Pixie Dust Shimmerz to the punched Martha Stewart snowflakes, a Melissa Frances Rub-on, gingham ribbon and some K&Co. pearls.
Next I made a card with the CHF set called The Lady's Future. I stamped her in black Staz-on and then added some Lilac, Gold Glimmer and Aqua Marine Shimmerz. For the background paper, I first painted the entire piece of white cardstock in Mint Shimmerz and then when dry I sprayed it with some Shimmerz Spritz in Truffle for an aged, funky kinda look! The housewife label is by Graphic 45. Just look at her purse, it is shimmering so much in the sunlight, I couldn't get a good pic of it!! :)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

Hugs,
