Vintage tag with Astrid

Hello Shimmerz friends! Today I am sharing my second project for March, - a large tag (size #10)

These are the yummy Shimmerz products I used:

Paste-Eez: Puttin On The Glitz

Inklingz: Tarnished Treasure

Spritz: Treasured Hymn

Vibez: Quit Yer Wine-n

I have a few process photos which I will share with you below:

I covered my tag with random strips of paper and then layered on some of the Paste-Eez, using my fingers. While this was still wet I sprinkled some embossing powder into the wet paste and then dried with my heatgun.

Here you can see the textures this creates a bit better. The paste has such a lovely creamy consistency, almost like whipped cream.

I wanted to add some crackle, as I love the effect the sprays have when you spritz it on. This time I used Tim Holtz's Crazing medium, again putting it on quite thickly with my fingers which created some nice largish crackle. 

The stencilling was done with a black Distress Crayon.

This little Spring Fairy digitally created and then fussy cut became my focal image. I added some shadows with the help of the Tarnished Treasure Inklingz and a Stabilo All pencil.

Well, that was pretty much it apart from just a little stamping in the background.
