Monoprinting with Shimmerz Paints.

Its Our Mini Series time again.
This week I am going to be focusing on playing with monoprinting.

Wikipedia says....."a monoprint is a single impression of an image made from a reprintable block.  Such as a meal plate used for etching, a litho stone or wood block.  Rather than printing an edition of multiple copies of a single image, only one impression may be produced, wither by painting or making a collage on the block"

Gelli Arts has a product which is made for monoprinting.  You can use it to print tags, cards, backgrounds, journal pages or whatever you can dream up and it works of course with Shimmerz Paints.  The results are stunning, with the shimmering effects in the final product really standing out in each print.

So have a look and see how it works.

So come back tomorrow and see more about printing with Shimmerz Paints in this mini series this week.
Looking forward to seeing you back here tomorrow!
