Baby's Breath Spritz: Perfect for Wintry Pages!

I created this page for the current challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge Blog. The challenge is to create something putting the focus on the color WHITE. I always have a hard time with monochromatic pages *blush, blush* . . . so let's just call mine WHITE-washed. ;)

I immediately thought of these recent pictures of Camryn playing in the first snowstorm of the season. I grabbed the Cuttlebug Embossing Folder called Morroccan Screen and myBaby's Breath Spritz.

I anchored my photo-grouping on an embossed and SPRITZed piece of white cardstock (click on photos to get a better look). The pattern of the embossing folder mimicked snowflakes and the Baby's Breath Spritz made the texture shimmer like a sunny snowbank.

Next I took the Basic Grey doilie paper and cut out 3 snowflake shapes from the center. I built my layout on a 10.5" X 10.5" sheet of patterned paper. when I was finished, I mounted it onto a contrasting sheet of pink patterned paper by My Mind's Eye (to give it some POP), and then onto the remaining sheet of Basic Grey Doilie paper (covering the snowflake holes).

Thanks for coming by!

No need to blush. Your white washed page is beautiful. So much texture and interest. I love the snowflakes. . no. . . I love it all!
