Think Pink!

Did you know that one in every eight women will get breast cancer? Did you know that every thirteen minutes a woman dies of breast cancer? Scary? Yes! But early detection is the key to survival so make sure you get yearly mammograms (after age 40) and do a self-exam at least monthly. Here are a couple of "pink" cards that I made to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

Thank you Jeni for your inspiring video, teaching us how to make our own flowers! I used old sheet music with Ruby, Cotton Candy and Licorice Spritz on these flowers. Thanks for looking. I can't wait to see your creations in our Shimmerz Flickr Gallery!

Blessings and peace,
